3. Completing the square method
In this method, the L.H.S. of the quadratic is converted in the
form of square of the binomial expression by addition and
simultaneous subtraction of some constants. Once, using the
standard algebraic identities, we get the perfect square, finding
the value of unknown becomes easy by taking square root on
both the sides of the quadratic equation.
