                             Don’t forget to plan

Some people forget to plan. They have a mission statement and a “wish-list”
but they don’t take the time and the trouble to break it down into “do-able”,

measurable goals. They end up frustrated and de-motivated because their

goals always seem to be out of reach.

                   Aim high

Having realistic goals does not mean that you should aim low, or

that you should be satisfied with the average. Aim high, as high as
you can, but stay within the bounds of reality.

                   Keep it real

Unrealistic goals will leave you frustrated and might even fill you

with a sense of failure. How can you tell whether your dream is
unrealistic or not? By breaking your dreams or wishes down into

smaller goals, you will know whether or not you can achieve that
final goal and make the dream come true.

                   Follow your own dreams

Some people give their whole lives to achieving goals which are not,
in fact, their own! The goals you set for yourself must be your own.

There’s no point in spending your life striving to be and become what
someone else wants for you. What are you passionate about? What makes

life worthwhile for you? What do you desire? Attaining your own goals will
reward you with a sense of fulfilment and achievement.
