Notice that all the stressors listed represent major changes in one’s life.
However, the pressures of day-to-day living can mount up until we feel we can
no longer cope. From what we have seen so far, the importance of managing
stress in our lives – which is unavoidable – should be clear. In the next
exercise, you are given the opportunity to list the stressors in your life, mental,
emotional and environmental.
Below are listed some examples to help you in your thought processes. Take
the time to do this exercise thoroughly, unpleasant though it might be. It will
be worth it in the end!
